Fees 2009-2010

Lower School Steiner schools in Britain receive no state funding so have to cover the costs of education by way of fees, fundraising and contributions. The Kindergarten however at our school is under the voucher scheme which means that the fee is subsidised.

Afternoon Club (12:45pm-15:15pm Monday to Friday for children of kindergarten age):

£5 per session


Kindergarten (3-5 year olds) Per-Child Fee with Voucher System (no sibling discount applicable)
£760.00
per year for a child in kindergarten 2 days per week.
£1.140.00 per year for 3 days
£1.520.00 per year for 4 days
£1.900.00 per year for 5 days

In the Steiner system Lower School starts the year the child turns 7, however the subsidized voucher rate is it is only applicable to children up to 5. For kindergarten fees for children who have turned 6 please see Lower School Fees on the right.

Kindergarten Per-Child Fee without Voucher system (with sibling discount)
£1,140.00 per year for a child in kindergarten 2 days per week
£1.710.00 per year for 3 days
£2,280.00 per year for 4 days
£2,850.00 per year for 5 days

Sibling discounts:
The Oldest child pays full fee; first sibling receives a 33% discount, subsequent siblings receive a 66% discount.


Lower School Fees (5/6 year olds and up)
Per-child fees are £3,798.

For siblings:
The first child pays the full fee; there is a sibling discount of 33% for the first sibling, and 66% for each subsequent sibling.

Assisted place:
If a family cannot afford the full per-child fee, they may apply for an assisted place. Assisted places are 15% of net income, with a minimum of £1,898 per child per year.

Classroom materials Charge:
There is a extra charge of £15 per lower school child per half term (£90 per year).
